Calderwood Hall Guest House is becoming increasingly popular for those who are looking for a comfortable place to stay in the area. It may be for an educational purpose, to conduct research or undertake a project in our area. Our longer staying guests tend to arrive on Monday and then leave on Friday, returning to us after the weekend.
In these instances, we look to create the environment you need to make your life easier while staying away from home; this may include takeaway breakfasts or lunches or that we place a microwave in a room to warm a late supper. Should there be a number of you, perhaps its an evening get-together around a braai. Whatever your requirements, please call us. If you are going to study or work in this beautiful part of the country, why not enjoy it!
We have two venues: the Jardine Centre and the Pavilion. Either venue can be set up according to your specific needs. Our suggested layouts are included for your perusal. The Jardine Function Centre is the larger of the two and the stack-back doors lead off the venue onto a large outdoor verandah area overlooking the beautiful view of the mountains and surrounding forests.
The Pavilion is smaller and situated in the front garden amongst the trees overlooking the dam. It has a large deck area, fire pit and a lovely braai facility. The large sliding doors give the room an indoor / outdoor feel.
